How to connect the barcode scanner to the computer

 The barcode scanner can be connected to a computer and used in supermarkets, clothing stores, restaurants, bookstores and other places.

Scan gun generally has three kinds of interfaces, namely USB interface, keyboard port and serial port.

Barcode scanner and computer connection method:

1. USB interface: generally plug and play, one end is connected to the scanner, the other end is connected to the USB port on the computer

2. Keyboard interface: Y-type cable: one end is connected to the computer keyboard port, the other end is connected to the keyboard; the other end is connected to the scanner

3. Serial port: one end is connected to the computer serial port, the other end is connected to the scanner

Note: The serial port generally requires an external power supply, and both the keyboard port and the USB port can provide 5V power.
